Become A Contributing Member
Friends of Dolpa keeps office costs extremely
low thanks to our grassroots working style. General donations are used
for all projects, wherever needed most. The Board of Directors consists
of founder and Executive Director, Catherine Inman, Secretary, Anne
Johnson and Member, Cheryl Parkins. As a Fullbright Scholar, Anne
Johnson, studied traditional weaving in Dolpa. Cheryl Parkins leads
yearly treks for the Sierra Club. Many of our contributors have been
to Dolpa, or have other strong ties with Nepal. Our Advisory Board
consists of eight Nepalese people and eight Americans.

Sponsor A School Directly
Tapriza School and
Dunai Boarding School
each have sponsorship programs. To ensure a school's long-term planning,
we ask that school sponsors commit for 5 to 10 years.

Lend Us
Your Skills
We appreciate
occasional help from friends who can volunteer
with Web site, database, desktop publishing, accounting,
fundraising and networking skills. Trekkers visiting
Dolpa can always carry letters.
